The 2020 NFL season is finally here.

In NFL point spread betting odds, you might see one team priced at -110 to win by more than 9.5 points and the opposing team priced at -110 to get within 9.5 points. How do odds work in betting? The point spread was created to attract more action on a game. When the San Francisco 49ers are expected to blow out the Arizona Cardinals, it’s not enticing to lay $300 to win $100 on a moneyline.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs will kick off the season at home against the Texans in a rematch of their divisional round playoff thriller last year. Sunday’s slate of games is highlighted by Tom Brady’s debut with the Bucs in an NFC South clash against Drew Brees and the Buccaneers, and there are two Monday Night Football games on the schedule.
